The Story of Sean
The Male Galago that required Life Saving Surgery
Sean, (After actor Sean Connery) is one of our older senior stud males. He has a certain skill and charisma with the ladies, we have discovered, and became a favorite among the female Galagos in our colonies. Whenever there was a young inexperienced female putting the male of the colony to great difficulty, and breeding looked like it was at a standstill, we could always count on Sean's charms to calm her down, and spark up her interest. As a result he gained a certain special status at the Centre, as the man with the 'flair'.
Last year, we were experiencing one such trial with a new female in her first season. She had the male in the harem backed in the corner and cowering for fear for his manhood. When it became obvious that "Lorena" (as we then named her) was not the trustung kind, we knew that we would have to call upon the seasoned talents of our veteran stud Sean.
We removed them from the colony and placed them in a segregated area. At first, Lorena was quite worried, and hid in the nest box at the top of the cage. Sean on the other hand, being quite familiar with this strategy, busied himself at the food dish selecting and eating insects and fruit from the fresh dish. After ignoring Lorena for about 2 hours, and lazily sitting back munching on insects, Sean decided to make his move.
He quietly crept up to the branches outside the nest box, and scented them with his urine. Then he sat out with a handfull of insects in Lorena's plain view on a ledge and munched away, being sure to leave plenty behind for her to salivate over.
Well this did the trick, and with Sean sleeping nearby with one eye open, Lorena crept out onto the branch and went for a snack. After eating her fill, she then decided to investigate Sean, who being no young infidel, abided his time and continued to pretend to sleep, She carefully approached him, and began to sniff him all over.
It was this routine of Seans that paid off, and within another 15 minutes Lorena's pent up passions were out of control. Once again Sean was having the time of his life.
They were romping all around playfully throughout the cage in a "chase me big boy and I'm all yours" game, where every once in a while Lorena would slow down enough to meet with Sean. It was during the course of this game, that a tired out and spent Sean, lost his footing during one of his leaps and couldn't recover with a handhold to another branch. He then fell to the bottom of the cage, and broke his leg.
We found him during one of out frequent discreet checks on the couple, at the bottom of the cage with Lorean licking him, and both of them quietly sounding an alert call.
