Here we see a collective picture of approximately 1/3 of our Desmodus Colony. Looks like that are all lined up to watch the baseball game or something. This illusion is created by the fact that they are all hanging from their feet at their roost, and the photo was taken from below them as they hang near the "cave" wall. (Smile for the camera boys. Hey! No Drooling!)

Here we see a close up of the 'boys'. Actually there are quite a few females in here too. A lot of people think that bat faces look grotesk. Well maybe some of them do a bit, but not our 'Slurpees'. These little guys actually have among the cutest faces in the bat world. After a while of watching them interact, you begin to see just how intelligent they actually are. Our Vampires came from a colony that had been maintained for 20 years in captivity before we got them, and that was quite a few years ago. "Hey boys, anyone for a "Blood-Lite?" :-)
